About the Role:
Weβre looking for a Lead SDET to drive quality across multiple CRM core modules, lead and grow SDETs, and act as a trusted quality authority across product and engineering. This role is for someone who defines quality strategy, drives automation at scale, mentors teams, and takes a firm stand when quality is at risk even under intense delivery pressure.
Responsibilities:
β’ Own end-to-end quality across multiple CRM core modules and teams, acting as the final authority on release readiness
β’ Define and drive quality strategy, identifying systemic gaps in process, tooling, and executionβand closing them sustainably
β’ Lead, mentor, and nurture SDETsβsetting clear expectations, guiding prioritization, and raising the overall quality bar
β’ Establish and execute a strong automation vision, ensuring scalable, reliable coverage and supporting the team in automating complex workflows and integrations
β’ Plan and strategize testing for releases, balancing speed, risk, and coverage while adapting to changing priorities
β’ Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Support, and Leadership to surface risks early and influence decisions with data
β’ Advocate firmly for qualityβtaking a stand to hold or delay releases when necessary, even under delivery pressure
β’ Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and customer-first thinking across teams
β’ Drive change with empathy and clarity, pushing improvements with minimal friction while staying firm on standards
Requirements:
β’ 7+ years of experience testing complex web applications or B2B SaaS platforms
β’ Proven experience leading SDETs or quality initiatives across teams
β’ Extensive hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.) and scalable test design
β’ Strong background driving team-wide automation goals and outcomes
β’ Expertise in API testing, performance/load testing, and backend validation
β’ Deep understanding of system architecture, databases, integrations, and distributed systems
β’ Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native environments
β’ Ability to debug complex issues across services and environments
β’ Excellent communication skillsβclear, assertive, and effective with all stakeholders
β’ Strong product sense and a customer-first quality mindset
